荻野屋 Kai -kai-] New store opening

We are pleased to announce that on January 17, 2025 (Friday), we will be opening our first restaurant in the Gotanda Shokudo, Food Hall on the first floor of the Gotanda JP Building. We are pleased to announce the opening of our first restaurant, "荻野屋 Kai - kai", a new business model offering dishes that evolved from traditional Japanese soup stock. 荻野屋 has its origins in a ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) that has been in operation since the Edo period (1603-1867), and continues to focus on the taste of dashi, the basic ingredient of Japanese cuisine. The new business model, "荻野屋 Kai", will offer a la carte dishes that take advantage of the newly developed "kaeshi", a traditional dashi broth that also signifies a return to the basics. The new business model "荻野屋 Kai" will offer a la carte dishes that make the most of the newly developed "kaeshi. We also offer a wide variety of udon dishes using Gunma-grown wheat, as well as carefully selected sake to go with these dishes. The menu also features a wide variety of udon noodles made with Gunma Prefecture wheat, allowing customers to enjoy the new 荻野屋 flavor that embodies the "new" and "old".
